We are now a third of the way through the Bible! Beginning the first of October, the Palm Springs Adventist Church encouraged its members to read through the Bible in 180 days, or approximately 6 months. The sequence of readings are designed to follow, as nearly as possible, a historical chronology. In other words, instead of reading straight through the books of the Bible in the order they are usually published, the stories are read in the order they likely occurred in history. According to Pastor Mike Leno, this requires readers to do some skipping around. So each month we publish a new reading list, which is arranged in chronological order.
The monthly reading plans are posted in the Bulletins and Newsletters section under the menu “Connecting with Us.” To go directly to the reading plan for December, 2014, click here.
